We are almost 90 strong in our team, and as we grow, we have a duty to provide a place people want to come to work and a place where they can have a voice, support and opportunities for internal development at CT. It is crucial that our team are able to learn, develop and achieve qualifications to reach their potential. We provide development plans that are tailored to each specific role and help team members gain important industry recognised certifications such as Microsoft, ITIL, Prince2, Veeam or SDI. We believe in promoting from within and encourage people to step forward and take on new skills.
This month we have a few internal development opportunities at CT fulfilled in the team as a result of personal development. Firstly we have Alex who has been working on the Service Desk for nearly a year and expressed interest in becoming a Field Engineer. Alex trialled this position in the latter months of 2022, getting to grips with a few of the scheduled visits and regular installs that we perform. We are happy to announce that Alex has successfully migrated over to the engineer team, bringing his knowledge of the Service Desk that will only strengthen his ability to deliver a quality service for our customers.
Another member of the team changing roles is Craig, who has been with CT for almost 12 years. Craig will be moving into the Project Engineer role and stepping away from regular visits and smaller implementation work. Craig has previous experience of project deployment therefore we are confident he will excel in this role full-time.
Lastly we have Phil who will be moving over to become an Onboarding Engineer, a role we have developed to drive a positive initial engagement with our new customers. Phil is already used to onboarding customers and we hope by having a dedicated individual, he can continually improve the experience our customers have with us, supporting their decision to invest in their IT with Central Technology.
