My Role
CEO & shareholder – responsible for the strategic direction of the business and building our fantastic team.
I started out as a chartered accountant with a BSc in Engineering. I had my early career at Deloitte initially auditing mid-market and blue-chip companies throughout the UK before specialising in forensic accounting and financial fraud investigation. Since leaving Deloitte I have built and sold a regional lift business then had a role as UK Operations Director for a global lift manufacturer. I brought commercial, financial and M&A experience to CT when I joined in 2011 BUT had a rapid learning curve to understand current technologies (with lots of acronyms) and the benefits they can bring to our customers. From this I’ve learned how to continually adapt the solutions and services offered in a rapidly changing industry
Achievement
Building the team from 8 to over 70 and offering a large number of opportunities for internal career progression as we have grown. Most particularly seeing the development of a number of apprentices that remain with CT in much more senior roles years after joining.
Weekend
Enjoy running, cycling and generally keeping fit, trying to play golf and watching my three boys play various sports (but most particularly rugby).
